What we collect. Your email, financial account data from Plaid (balances, transactions, account metadata), and anything you tell SmartStash directly.
What we don't do. We never move your money. We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers or third parties for marketing.
How we store it. All data is encrypted at rest in our database. Access tokens are stored in encrypted columns. We use Supabase for infrastructure.
Plaid. Your bank credentials are handled by Plaid — we never see or store them. SmartStash only receives read-only access to your transactions and balances.
Deleting your data. Email hello@smartstashhq.com and we'll delete everything within 7 days.
